SMSMirror, Android telefonuna gelen SMS'leri eşleştirdiğin iPhone'a iletir. Bu sayfa hangi verinin nerede tutulduğunu ve ne zaman silindiğini anlatır.
Hesap yok
SMSMirror hesap, e-posta adresi, telefon numarası ya da isim istemez. İki telefon, iPhone'da gösterilen bir QR kodla birbirine eşleştirilir.
Uçtan uca şifreleme
Android uygulaması her SMS'i (gönderen ve metin) telefonda, yalnızca eşleştirilmiş iPhone'un sahip olduğu anahtarlarla şifreler (X25519 ve ChaCha20-Poly1305). Relay sunucusu dahil aradaki hiçbir sistem mesajları açamaz.
Relay sunucusunun tuttukları
Her eşleştirme için sunucuda yalnızca şunlar bulunur:
- rastgele üretilmiş kimlikler;
- erişim anahtarlarının SHA-256 özetleri (anahtarların kendisi değil);
- iPhone'un Apple push token'ı ve ortamı (sandbox ya da production);
- iletimin duraklatılıp duraklatılmadığı;
- şifreli mesajlar, iPhone aldığını bildirene ya da 48 saat dolana kadar.
Tamamlanmamış eşleştirme kodları 10 dakika sonra geçersiz olur ve silinir. Eşleştirmeyi iki telefondan biri kaldırdığında eşleştirme ve bekleyen mesajları hemen silinir. Apple'ın artık geçersiz saydığı bir iPhone'a ait eşleştirme 30 gün sonra silinir.
Hizmetin düzgün çalıştığını izlemek için sunucu saatlik toplamlar da tutar: kaç mesaj iletildiği, ne kadar sürede teslim edildiği, kaç eşleştirme yapıldığı ve kullanıldığı gibi. Bu toplamlarda kimlik, token, adres ya da mesaj yoktur; kimseyle ilişkilendirilemezler ve 400 gün sonra silinirler.
iPhone’dan cevaplar
İsteğe bağlı cevaplama açıkken, cevap metni ve Android’e özel hedef referansı iki telefonun ortak sırrından türetilen ayrı anahtarlarla şifrelenir. Relay bu içeriği açamaz. Gönderilmemiş cevaplar bir saat sonra gönderime kapanır. Şifreli komut içeriği işlem tamamlanınca veya süre dolunca, şifreli sonuçlar en geç 48 saat içinde temizlenir. Tekrar gönderimi engelleyen kimlik, hash ve zaman/durum kayıtları eşleştirme kaldırılana kadar tutulur. Relay bunları ve şifreli cihaz hazırlık bilgisini saklar.
Android uygulaması kullanıcı etkinleştirdiğinde SMS gönderme ve SIM bilgisi izinlerini kullanır; cevapları operatör tarifesi üzerinden gönderir. Ek Android push servisi kullanılmaz. Android’in işletim sistemi gönderilen SMS’i telefonun kendi mesaj geçmişine kaydedebilir. Uygulamanın Android gönderim kayıtlarında metin şifreli tutulur; cevap geçmişi iPhone’da yereldir.
IP adresleri
IP adresin yalnızca kötüye kullanımı sınırlamak için, bellekte ve en fazla yaklaşık bir dakika tutulur. Kaydedilmez ve loglara yazılmaz.
Başka hizmetler
- Apple Push Notification service: iPhone'a bildirimleri Apple iletir; bunun için Apple iPhone'un push token'ını işler. Bildirim yalnızca şifreli mesajı taşır.
- Google Play hizmetleri kod tarayıcısı: Android'de QR kod, telefonun üzerinde taranır; kamera görüntüsü telefondan çıkmaz. Google bu tarayıcı için teşhis verisi toplar (cihaz modeli ve işletim sistemi, uygulama sürümü, bir cihaz kimliği, performans ve hata bilgisi; ayrıntılar Google'ın “ML Kit Android data disclosure” sayfasında).
SMSMirror'ın kendi analizi, reklamı ya da izlemesi yoktur.
Telefonlardaki veriler
Mesaj geçmişi yalnızca iPhone'da tutulur ve yedeklemelere dahil edilmez. Android uygulamasının verileri bulut yedeklemesine dahil edilmez.

SMSMirror forwards the text messages your Android phone receives to the iPhone you pair it with. This page explains what data is kept where, and when it is deleted.
No accounts
SMSMirror asks for no account, email address, phone number or name. The two phones are paired with a QR code shown on the iPhone.
End-to-end encryption
The Android app encrypts each text message (sender and text) on the phone, with keys only the paired iPhone holds (X25519 and ChaCha20-Poly1305). No system in between, the relay server included, can open the messages.
What the relay server keeps
For each pairing, the server holds only:
- randomly generated ids;
- SHA-256 hashes of the access tokens (not the tokens themselves);
- the iPhone's Apple push token and environment (sandbox or production);
- whether forwarding is paused;
- encrypted messages, until the iPhone acknowledges them or 48 hours pass.
Pairing codes that are not used expire after 10 minutes and are deleted. When either phone unpairs, the pairing and its queued messages are deleted immediately. A pairing whose iPhone Apple no longer accepts is deleted after 30 days.
To see that the service works, the server also keeps hourly totals: how many messages were forwarded, how quickly they were delivered, how many pairings were made and used, and similar counts. These totals contain no ids, tokens, addresses or messages, cannot be linked to anyone, and are deleted after 400 days.
Replies from iPhone
When optional replies are enabled, reply text and the Android-only target reference are encrypted with separate keys derived from the phones’ shared secret. The relay cannot decrypt them. Unsent replies cannot start sending after one hour. Encrypted command content is cleared after completion or expiry, and encrypted results within 48 hours. IDs, hashes and timing/state records used to prevent duplicate sends remain until unpairing. The relay also stores encrypted device readiness information.
The Android app uses SMS sending and SIM information permissions when enabled by the user. Carrier charges apply. No additional Android push service is used. Android itself may save sent SMS in the system messaging history. The app’s Android dispatch records keep text encrypted; reply history is local to the iPhone.
IP addresses
Your IP address is used only to limit abuse, held in memory for no more than about a minute. It is not stored and not written to logs.
Other services
- Apple Push Notification service: Apple delivers notifications to the iPhone and processes its push token to do so. A notification carries only the encrypted message.
- Google Play services code scanner: on Android, the QR code is scanned on the device and the camera image never leaves the phone. Google collects diagnostics for the scanner (device model and OS, app version, a device identifier, performance and error data; see Google's “ML Kit Android data disclosure” page).
SMSMirror itself has no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
Data on the phones
Message history lives only on the iPhone and is excluded from backups. The Android app's data is excluded from cloud backup.

SMSMirror is not directed to children.
